After finishing my video I allowed the year 12s to watch it and write down their reactions. getting others to watch and comment will help me to improve my video, if improvements are needed. This was shown on the projector, here is a short clip of them watching it;
Here are the reactions of the students;
Sophie Rose
Sophie Rose
- - The dancing was really good how everyone was synchronised
- - The sped up bits were really good
- - Lip syncing was good
- - I like how there wasn’t just one person singing for the whole time
Emily Rose
- · Lip syncing was really good and so was the dancing.
- · Lots of different scenes- looked effective
- · I didn’t feel like the lyrics were inappropriate for my age and didn’t feel uncomfortable with the younger girls dancing to them, but I can see how some people would so it’s good that you have a way to overcome this
Alistair Neil
- Lighting in some shots were too dark, which made it difficult to see
- Quick editing is good
- Unclear what is shown on the first two shots
Jack Sutherland

- Good characters in the video
Ruvimbo Mbirimi
- Like the use of lip-syncing in the video
- Good use of dark background, makes it's different and interesting.
James Wilkes
- Consistency of darkness
- Sped up dancing with the tempo of the music
- Editing of camera angles was well-suiting
- Throne scenes were good - showed power
Almost all of the feedback was good, the only complaints were 'too dark to view'. As this was shown on a projector in daylight I feel it was viewed in very light conditions and was not seen at its best. Although these are serious complaints I am not going to worry about them too much as from computers and phones the images are clear and viewable. Although the lightness of a clip is essential to be able to watch it, I feel the conditions that my audience watched it in were not suitable and therefore these issues brought up are not a problem.
