In the digital age all artists are now using social media to connect to their fans.
Social media is an extremely helpful way to keep in contact with fans, every part of the artists day can be recorded and viewed by their fans.
I have now created a Facebook page for 'Up And Coming'. Helping to connect to fans it is also a way to advertise new music and products.
This also links to Maslow's hierarchy of needs as it helps the fans belong and boosts their self esteem.

As you can see I have already started to post photos, videos and teasers to the page. This will encourage 'Up And Coming's' fans to watch the videos and will feel apart of a group.
